I'm 18 years old. It's summer. I'M MOVING FOR COLLEGE IN 28 DAYS.
Today, my family and I went a bit dorm shopping. I can't wait to decorate my dorm room and freak out my room mate because of all the harry potter posters and cardboard cut outs. ahh it's gonna be amazing.
Once I move, I'LL BE FREE AS A BIRD. No more "time to go to bed Kristine." Honestly, like I mentioned earlier, I'M 18 YEARS OLD. Do I STILL need to be told when to go to bed!?
I recently got out of being grounded. The whole beginning of summer, I was grounded because of a speeding ticket. I wasn't allowed to hang out with ANY OF MY FRIENDS, drive anywhere leisurely, and more. It sucked so bad.
This is why I can't wait to leave. I'm moving to a school that's a 45 minute train ride away from the city. I'll be chillin with my potter buddies there WHENEVER I WANT TO! AND the new york city wizard rock fest is gonna be killer. Oh yeah, and studying film and ONLY FILM. Ugh that's gonna be so much fun. I can't wait any longer.

ReplyDeleteIt's one of my life's goals to live in a dorm. Problem is, most people in Montreal go to McGill University (a freaking amazing uni that's as good, academically, as Ivy League), but if I do end up going there, I'll probably still live at home or in a duplex that my parents own in this city.
I NEED to live in a dorm at some point. Ah.
but yes, I'm SO EXCITED to hear about the college life. You better goddamn write EVERYTHING down. I remember when Hayley G Hoover started college, and her blog was so damn interesting.
I KNOW you, so it'll be better. Please please explain ALL the details. This is important for my survival.
